Happiness is sometimes fleeting. Sometimes it is easier to be something other than happy. To see things that bring sadness not joy. Sometimes it is easier to see darkness because darkness is always there. But darkness cannot be slain it can only be lit. Light is the only way to defeat darkness. Be a light.

ReplyDeleteWe have a winter celebration right before the holidays in December, Betsy & hold a "celebration of light" where each classroom and/or group displays something that has to do with bringing light into our lives. Your post would be a lovely thing to display, like your poem yesterday too. Love it!
